A sad and moving video about Miklós Fehér, a Hungarian soccer player who died at age 24 from sudden cardiac arrest during a match.   Garcia collapsed in the centre circle after suffering a heart attack early in the second half. The 31-year-old was revived on the pitch before being rushed to the hospital.  He continues to improve.   While filming BBC’s Helicopter Heroes, a dispatcher, Chris Solomons, has a cardiac arrest on camera.  This clip follows Mr. Solomon form arrest to recovery in the hospital.  This thorough coverage of cardiac arrest is very rare.

Seventh-grader Kylee Shea collapsed at school. Teachers began CPR and used the school’s AED. When paramedics arrived, Kylee was alert and talking. The entire rescue was recorded by a hallway camera. Kaylee has since made a full recovery.   Officers administered CPR and an AED shock while waiting for an ambulance to arrive. As the officers preform CPR,a nurse drove past the scene. She jumped in to assist the officers, helping to administer chest compressions as medics arrived. EMS took over CPR, and within minutes, the man was breathing on his own.    Japanese language student Takahiro Ono is found lifeless in the water on a surprisingly calm day. With no breath and no pulse a frantic resuscitation effort begins as Bondi lifeguards come to his rescue. Finally a defibrillator shocks him back to life. Ten minutes after the incident Taka is fully conscious.

Ken Jeong (of TV show Community) suits up in new Stayin’ Alive video to promote Hands-Only CPR.   Vinne Jones  (Action movie star) shows how hard and fast Hands-only CPR to Stayin’ Alive by the Bee Gees can help save the life of someone who has had a cardiac arrest.    The Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) has launched an aggressive campaign to raise awareness of CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), with an edgy, horror-movie style video that teaches people what to do if someone suffers cardiac arrest.
