Safety protocols for teaching Compression–Only CPR
The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s safety protocols for teaching Compression-Only CPR (also known as Hands-Only CPR) during COVID-19 include: physical distancing of at least 2 meters; proper hand sanitization; wearing masks; no sharing of training equipment (e.g. mannequins and AED training units); and proper cleaning/disinfecting of equipment between uses according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
